Cookie Decorator

Position Title: Cookie Decorator

Department: Decorating

Reports to: Decorating Manager

Employment Status: Temporary / Full-Time / Part-Time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Effective Date: 06/01/2020

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Must be able to draw freehand
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Be able to solve problems as it applies to your project and in conjunction with your supervisor
  • Must have a creative mind and imagination and be willing to share and get an idea approved by your supervisor as it applies to new ideas
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be willing to work weekends as needed
  • Observe color of products being decorated and adjust accordingly
    • Inspect product upon completion
  • Check quality of raw materials to ensure standards are being met. i.e., size, shape, texture etc.
  • Report inventory weekly or as needed
  • Check/Monitor equipment to ensure it is running properly and meets health and safety regulations.
    • Perform regular cleaning of equipment
  • Communicate concerns and or suggestions to supervisors.
  • Assist as requested with training of new members of your team
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Clock in and out through T-Sheets for approval
  • Submit production reports as required
  • Maintain clean and uncluttered work area and surroundings

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

  • Prior work history of at least 2yrs. Similar experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Punctuality
  • Proficiency in time management
  • Efficient and Well Organized
  • Sound Communication Skills
  • High School Degree or GED is preferred

Baker

Position Title: Baker

Department: Bakery

Reports to: Bakery Manager

Employment Status: Temporary / Full-Time / Part-Time

Position Summary

Mix, press, roll and cut to form and bake raw goods to produce TailBangers All-Natural Dog Treats. This position requires but is not limited to the operation of mixers, ovens, and other bakery equipment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Measure ingredients, combine measured ingredients in mixers or another bakery equipment
    • Operate mixers to the standards set in recipes (which are proprietary)
    • Transport finished dough to the appropriate station(s)
  • Set oven temperatures and place product into hot ovens for baking
    • Adjust temperature controls of ovens, monitor baking times
  • Set time and speed controls for mixers in accordance with recipe
  • Operate a variety of bakery machines to include but not limited to:
    • Formatic
      • Process dough in an efficient and rapid manner always maintaining the integrity of the product
    • Bagel Machine
      • Execute the formation of products on the assembly line at the Bagel Machine to the appropriate size, shape, and texture. Speed and waste will be measured
    • Sheeter
      • Set to the appropriate setting corresponding to the dough being worked
    • Dough Press
    • Mixers
    • Ovens
  • Cut multiples shapes as assigned with efficient use of the dough with limited waste
  • Observe color of products being baked and adjust oven temperatures and or time
    • Inspect product upon removal from oven
  • Deliver cooled product to appropriate bins and store or deliver product as needed
  • Storage of product is necessary in the defined bins and placed on appropriate racks
  • Report inventory weekly or as needed
  • Check/Monitor equipment to ensure it is running properly and meets health and safety regulations.
    • Perform regular cleaning of equipment
  • Communicate concerns and or suggestions to supervisors.
